A Year of Mistakes: 2010
Rather than do the cliche “My best moments of 2010” or “New Year’s Resolutions,” I thought writing about my mistakes of 2010 would prove to be more useful.  Never make the same mistake twice, you know? Taking Calculus II with Dr. Bender and earning a C.  Worst. Professor. Ever. Watching “The Last Airbender.”  I think everyone who saw it can agree on that...

Woe to those whom take what we see for sheer grant and not a second thought to the first. For a tree is just a tree until you become natural from the unnatural state we have been conditioned to be. Not just a tree but for whatever ones eyes may lie up upon while seeking the outside world. Forget what you know and see for what is truly what.

Here is the right turn, the bend in the path. And you’re only opening your eyes to look over your shoulder, trying to hold onto just a bit of what was back there behind you. But sometimes, the dust clouds your eyes; and sometimes the dirt is gritty in your teeth ;and sometimes there’s nothing there but some footprints you’ve outgrown.

Read
“Why is it that I can think, and why don’t I know, or understand, why I can think?” Yeah, put that into your mind, let it brew, and get back to me on that.

I feel like it takes so much strength to love yourself. Just like it is so easy to accept misery, it is just as easy to pick apart your appearance and constantly point out your character flaws. To actually come to a point where you embrace who you are takes an immense amount of courage and confidence. Sometimes, you just have to say, “Fuck it, I’m mind-blowing.”  Just keep that...

I wish people didn’t grow apart. There are some people I wish I could remain connected with forever. But this isn’t the reality of life. People drift.  And sometimes, you can’t have them in your life the way you want them to be.

I hate it when a person quotes a legendary poet or writer and has no idea who the person they are quoting is, they just post it because it’s a popular quotation. Read a book.

Injected
possessionsofmisery: I have been injected with these words that outline the inner me. They express the torture  I’ ve been through but there’s yet still to come.  They run wildly through me like a disease that cant be cured.  I suffer from this sickness. It makes me seem so feeble.  It breaks me down gently. As I leisurely engrave my words of misery; it reduces my sickness. - November 27,...

Conversation
It’s difficult for me to talk to people that don’t have much to say or have such a generic, monotone personality or conversation.  If I ask you what you’re doing and all you say is nothing. That response gets it’s exact meaning: nothing.

We Often Forget,
The first moments of loving someone, the first conversation you have with them, the first time they made you laugh, the first words you exchanged. Its’ like we are bombarded with so many greets and goodbyes and hugs and laughs, that we start to lose ourselves within each other, this is where love starts, it’s not meant to be expected, it’s not meant to be planned, it’s...
